We have been blessed with an oppurtinity to teach on the HSE core values as they pertain to Evangelsim. So today we were able to spend the day with Amaris preparing for the teaching. We each are telling a story from our lives that highlights how the core value was used in Evangelism. We know that with your continued prayer we will be able to equip many youth to bodly share their faith.
After our day of preperation we headed over to a local pub called the Mitre, where Marty's Bible study takes place. Jonathan and I had prepared a teaching on how to give testimonies. I explained how to pick your story, craft it, make it stick, resolve cognitive dissonance, and taught on the power of testimonies and how they can be used. Jonathan then proceded to give his testimony as an example and then broke it apart and noted how each part was used and related it to what I had taught them. After the teaching we all had giant burgers that really made us feel at home.
